Ed & Betty Morris Visit Bangalore Ring 177
The second 1995 Reception held by the Bangalore, India Ring was the “Royal Reception” accorded to Honorable Edward A. Morris and Mrs. Betty Morris of California on March 17, 1995. Sri. Sashidhar Sharma made seating arrangements in front of the heralding banner, as hereunder: “Welcome Honorable Mr. Edward A. Morris, the Past President of the I.B.M. and the Roving Ambassador of Good Will and Mrs. Betty Morris on their Spiritual and Magical Second World Tour.”
The Morrises were welcomed by Ring President Prof. S.K. Vasantha Kumar and were received by Siryuths. Jagadish Shukla and S.K. Ramaprasad. Smthi. Umashankar, the Chair Person of the Reception Committee, was duly introduced by Prof. Vasantha Kumar. Thereafter, Mr. Morris gave an erudite talk about his tour experiences and laid emphasis on practice, practice, practice to “perfect the routine.”
The Trick Session was started by the favorite tricks of Mr. Morris. After performing some favorite effects, he condescended to teach certain items. His release of a ring from a ribbon held by two persons was superb, his Four Aces routine was wonderful.
The following members then performed: Prof. Baas, Prof. Vasantha Kumar, Boy Sudhindran, Baby Rashmi Nagashri, Vinay Kumar, Sri. E. Chandrashekara, Jagadish Shukala, Udaya Jadugar, and Sri. Prakash. In the middle of these proceedings, light refreshments were served. Catering by Smthi. S. Sriranga, Smthi. Shakunthala and Smthi. Mamatha Seshadri, carefully supervised by Sri. B.S. Seshadri assisted by Sri. S.K. Ramaprasad.
